Begin the busiest airport Britain, Heathrow has a range of different spotting areas for all runway operations.

The most famous location is of course myrtle avenue, which is located just at the end of runway 27L and is best for capturing the aircraft landing on 27L. However if runway 09R is in operation and the aircraft are taking of Myrtle avenue is also a great location to spot.

When runway 27R is in operation for take offs heathrow skills academy spotting area is an amazing location to visit. The aircraft spooling up to full throttle right in front of your eyes and ears . I have also seen in videos that runway 27R landings are also amazing too spot here as your right next to the touch down point. And if Runway 09L is in operation from videos i have seen you can see the aircraft rotate or just as they put there gears up and this creates an amazing side shot.
